About John Perry
A qualified counsellor and experienced trainer on disability issues, John has over thirty years’ experience of providing support, advice, guidance and advocacy to disabled people on employment, education, training and benefits.
John says: “I use my own ‘lived experience’ of disability to help other people. We all have a right to participate equally in society; I want to use my skills, knowledge and experience to help other disabled people to access the services and opportunities they are entitled to.”

Radio Programme & Podcast
Since the launch of Focus Employment Hub I have presented a radio programme called ‘In Focus’ on Liverpool Community Radio 106.7 fm, focusing on equality, diversity and inclusion issues.
I also presented a monthly podcast the ‘Imagine’ podcast focusing on equality, diversity and inclusion issues which we upload to youtube and other platforms and via social media.
